With the recent wildfires raging in southern California, it’s pertinent to go back and look at California’s Protection from Wildfire Smoke Law (PWFS) that became effective on July 29, 2019. This law creates obligations for employers to ensure the safety of employees who work outdoors in proximity to a wildfire.
